As we re-enter with Vol. 7 of Meeting Of The Minds & I've got a very special set of tracks on this one.

Even though I've known Sully for a number of years now, we've never actually been able to work on a tune together, for no reason in particular. We've been supporting each other's music in that time & I've been a big fan of some of his music, especially the tunes on his label Uncertain Hour, his recent EP on Astrophonica & his collaborative EP with Kid Lib on Magic 3. But our paths have never really crossed musically, so I thought that this collaborations series would give me good reason to get in touch and work on something with him and the outcome of that is "Windswept".

Next up is "Togetherness" by Eusebeia & me. I first met him at a club night in Bristol that me & Dwarde were booked to play at. I'd known of him for his more deeper and ominous drum & bass style like his "Exit Trappings" EP on Repertoire but he played a full on jungle set of mostly his productions and since then, I've been keeping an eye out for any of his releases. We spoke earlier this year when he sent some tunes and that led to us working on this tune together.

Dust-e-1 isn't really someone that I would consider as a producer within the modern day jungle scene as the majority of his output is other styles, but I first heard the name when he released an EP of jungle tunes on Lobster Theremin in 2018. Even though I've made music with a lot of people over the years, I've been quite particular about who I choose to be involved with in the Meeting Of The Minds series, especially when it comes to anyone that's on the outside of the scene I'm in. But I decided I would put my prejudices to the side to see what could happen and after making "The Rush" with him, I don't regret the choice to be more outward-looking regarding who I work with.

I'm quite a big fan of Ant To Be, having played his OKBRON release in a few radio shows and mixes, as well having remixed one of his tunes for a forthcoming Kniteforce release, I was keen on getting on a collaboration with him at some point. I reached out to him about it & he was as interested as I was and that led to "Alpha Centauri" being made.
