I had been long putting off the idea of main label releases on Future Retro London, since I was so fixated on making sure that collaborations were being worked on for the Meeting Of The Minds series. But it wasn't until I was sent a tune that couldn't really fit on that series that I was keen on releasing that it got me in gear with finally making FR001 happen.

On the a-side, Ricky Force (who I worked with on The Craft on FRMOTM004) comes with a wicked tune called "All I Need", where the vocals and the vibes in the melodies caught my attention enough to want to release it, alongside a remix of it I also did, to make it a bit more dancefloor focused with more emphasis on the drums & the bass.

On the b-side, Basic Rhythm (from Raw Basics) bringing the fresh contemporary style on "Turning Me On", the kind of tune that I was unsure of at first but it caught my attention and then grew on me as I began to play it more and more and mix it alongside other tracks. Then for the remix, Gremlinz took the tune on a darker & harder edged version, simplifying it down to the base elements and then bringing it up a notch.

Look forward to more main label releases after this one, as I'll be mixing up these releases alongside the Meeting Of The Minds series to keep things a bit less predictable.
