So the story behind this release, it goes back to a thread from 2017 on the Jungle/Drum & Bass group on Discogs where someone named Dean asks for advice on how to set up a record label. Someone asks him what kind of music he wants to release and mentions a few artists as an example, one of them being me. Since I'm an active user on that group, I post in the thread asking him to get in touch and one thing led to another and the label he started is called Amenology & I was the first artist that released with him later that year, AMEN001: Give Me More/My Reality.

He didn't press a large amount since he was just getting started and wanted to test the waters with releasing vinyl, but since then people have been asking both me & him for years on end about spare copies/represses of that release & there was never any concrete plans to do anything about it because he was more focused on sorting out new releases for Amenology and I wasn't running a label for most of that time.

Fast forward to 2021, Dean messages me mentioning about how he would like to maybe do a release of Give Me More with remixes from me, Sully & Ricky Force at some point in the future, maybe for the 50th release of his label. At that time, he was only halfway towards 50 releases & I felt more able to accomodate it in my release schedule, so I suggested that to get it out faster, we could team up on it as a release and start it now. He agreed and was up for doing it, and here's the end result, AMENFR001.

Big thanks to Dean for taking the leap and starting his own label, thanks to Sully & Ricky Force for their excellent remixes & thanks to everyone that never stopped asking me or Dean about this tune haha :)
